The Second Boston Trip 8th July 2000 My second trip to Boston was a really short one. All work and no play. The most prominent feature of Boston this time was the Big Dig. Only two photos, taken from the car while we headed for the airport. If you want to compare this paucity of photos with my previous visit, go here. On the way to the airport, about to do the tunnel, and we were stopped. This view of the cranes took my fancy. Just another shot of the traffic. You can see the huge placemarkers where the fly-over is going to go. Look at that skyline. I heard someone say that a whole generation of Bostonians will grow up knowing but massive inner city construction.
